Musical instrument science (relationship between playing sounds and musical instrument materials)
Last year, we conducted a joint research project with Toyama Prefecture on the production of stringed instruments made of wood from Toyama Prefecture, and we also asked the University of Toyama's Department of Mechanical and Systems Engineering, NVFC Lab. to evaluate various aspects of the acoustics of the instruments.
This year's event, held annually by Toyama Prefectural University, has been held since 1996 with the aim of increasing interest in science among children, who will be the leaders of the next generation, and fostering a wealth of creativity and potential. In the Da Vinci Festival, faculty members and students introduce and present their daily research in the "University Explorers" and hold many projects such as manufacturing classes to communicate with children and show them the fun of science.
This year's event is titled "The Science of Musical Instruments (The relationship between the sound of musical instruments and the materials used in them)" and is being held online.

広沢タダシさんは、デビュー当初から「S.Tsuji D Model」を永年に渡りご愛用頂いており、昨年当工房にお越しになられた時に20周年記念モデルをオーダーされました。広沢さんのご希望でスモールサイズのサイド&バックにマホガニー材を使用したモデルで、インレイデザインは、西脇一弘さんに今回特別にデザインして頂いたインレイが施してあります。
今回完成した「S.Tsuji WSG-2 T.Hirosawa Signature」は、ボディトップにアディロンダックスプルース。サイド&バックにキューバンマホガニー使用。ネックは、ホンジュラスマホガニー使用。の特別モデルです。
今回広沢タダシさんのご協力により、 「WSG-2 T.Hirosawa Signature」を在庫材料の関係で限定10本をオーダー製作となります。興味ある方は、早めにお問い合わせください。
また、ボディ材をトップにシトカスプルース。サイド&バックにアフリカンマホガニーを使用した「S.Tsuji WSG-1 T.Hirosawa Signature」もオーダー予約も受け付けております。

Kantaro Uchida special specification model "P-116 Kantaro Custom model"
Kantaro Uchida of Yukadan has been using "Chaki P-1", which was created by Shiro Tsuji when he was a member of tea stringed instruments, for many years and is still in use today. 16-inch size "P-1 16" which is 1 inch down in size while inheriting the "P-1" style
We have specially produced "Kantaro Custom Model". The top is Ingleman spruce. The side and back use frame maple with beautiful heather. It also has a built-in pickup so that it can be used at live performances.

S.Tsuji Guitars New Original ウクレレ
Since last year, we have collaborated with Toyama Prefectural Wood Research Institute, Toyama Prefectural General Design Center, Design Office, Toyama Prefectural University, and industry-academia-government collaboration to create soprano-sized original designs using artificial heathered cedar compression materials and Toyama Prefecture materials. Ukurere is completed. In addition, Toyama Prefecture's traditional craftsmanship (Takaoka lacquer ware, Raden work, Takaoka copperware heather gold) was decorated on the parts. All made in Toyama ukulele.
